The Kamberg Trout Festival is hosted annually by the Kamberg Valley Association, Bells Whisky, and Wildfly.

From the 9th May till the 11th May, 180 fisherpersons made up of teams of six anglers fished the beautiful waters (30 dams) of the Kamberg Valley. Most of the dams are privately owned and are not open to the public unless fishermen and women book into the accommodation outlets at the various waters.

Fishing Results were as follows:

BIGGEST FISH:
1st Place: T Pfontenhauer - 3.23 kg trout caught on Uitzicht Dam.
2nd Place: M Lindsay - 2.97 kg trout caught on Airstrip Dam.
3rd Place: K Reynolds - 2.80 kg trout caught on Kariba Dam.
4th Place: B Karg - 2.68 kg trout caught on Uitzicht Dam.
5th Place: G Pitt - 2.67 kg trout caught on Sourveldt Top Dam.

SESSION PRIZES:
1st Session: J Annels - 2.25 kg trout caught on Kingfisher Dam
2nd Session: H. Coetzee - 2.47 kg trout caught on Riverside Top Dam
3rd Session: M Kiese - 2.47 kg trout caught on Kariba Dam

5th Session: C Saayman - 2.37 trout caught on Kariba Dam.
